Interactive Alignment of Parameterised Object Models to Images
نویسنده
چکیده
Semi-automatic measurement of objects with regular shapes can be performed efficiently in three steps: (1) selection of an object model and approximate alignment of the object by a human operator, (2) precise alignment to the image by a fitting algorithm, and (3) correction of fitting errors by a human operator. This paper presents a new approach to perform these three steps using the same algorithm in all three steps. This algorithm allows the operator to drag both points and lines of the projected object model wire frame, including curved edges and contour edges, in order to align these features with the image contents. Using the described algorithm there is no need for the operator to specify which parameters of the object models are to be adapted in order to improve the alignment.

Evaluation and Comparison of Topographic Correction Models Is Applied on the Series Landsat Images Using Spectrometery Data
The effect of topography on the radiance record in satellite image, probably reduce the accuracy of algorithem impliementation on the images . Therefore, to reduce the effect of topography, various correction models based on interaction between light and object needs to be defined. This research introduces lombertin correction model (Cosine model) and non_lombertin correction model (mineart and...
متن کاملRapid Interactive Modelling from Video with Graph Cuts
We present a method for generating a parameterised model of a scene from a set of images. The method is novel in that it uses information from several sources—video, sparse 3D points and user input—to fit models to a scene. The user drives the process by providing selected high-level scene information, for instance selecting an object in the scene, or specifying the relationship between a pair ...

In third-person video games, players are able to move and progress in the interactive world of the game while watching their avatar from an external point of view. The purpose of this paper is to investigate the role of avatar in the interactive imaginary world of video games using double vision theory. This article is based on descriptive-analytical methods and the use of library data and imag...

Object detection plays an important role in successfulness of a wide range of applications that involve images as input data. In this paper we have presented a new approach for background modeling by nonconsecutive frames differencing. Direction and velocity of moving objects have been extracted in order to get an appropriate sequence of frames to perform frame subtraction. Stationary parts of ...
متن کاملInteractive Art Analysis Based on Baudrillard’s Hyper reality Theory, a Case Study of Digital Interactive installation
The contemporary philosopher Jean Baudrillard, one of the postmodernism theorists, considers representation in the contemporary world as a factor in the disappearance of reality. In his view, the main feature of new arts is not the expression of artistic beauty, but communication with the audience and expression of the artist’s ideas. In interactive art, the presence and role of the audience in...
